Revolving doors

High capacity revolving doors
Our range of high capacity revolving doors have large segment sizes which enable a large flow of passengers to pass through without discomfort. Specific airport advantages are:

Airport - automated border passage
The system was developed in answer to the following problem definition; organize fast and comfortable border passage with a minimum involvement of airport staff but without making any concessions to clearance procedures. The solution was found by combining two types of physical access barriers from the Tonali range. Both products were already internationally recognized for their superior design and high degree of transparency. The exact characteristics needed to meet the primary requirements of a high-level security passage, which should be both comfortable and open.
Biometrics and smart card technology
Additional database-controlled electronics, biometrics technology and smart card technology completes the system at an airport, which is part of the loyalty program. Passengers arriving at the Automated Border Passage are asked to register by passing their personalized smart card through a card reader. Once the identification has been approved, the Tonali security barrier is released allowing entry into the verification zone. Following the biometrical verification of identity, the second Tonali security barrier will open towards border passage. If identity is not verified, the system will open towards immigration.
Integrated airlock
The integrated airlock integrates the deterrent functions of the video recording image of whom enters with the functional characteristics of a high technology airlock, governed by a microprocessor, with the programmability and maintenance functions based on the previous hours of working. Thank to close loop control of speed profiles, the airlock has the capability of reducing the wear and tear of the mechanism and also the costs of tuning assistances. It has at its disposal one serial port, which insures the possibility of telecontrol from control and/or maintenance centres. The use of PC and of one evoluted operating system permits the fulfilment of other deterrent functions (integration of access control with different identification types).
