Univers 3T SAS are a perfect solution for the functions requested in a modern building: a complete physical barrier, high flow capacity, correct design and security integrated with control and manage systems.
The sliding door together with metal objects check is the complete solution for building security without other barriers and local controls.
Thanks to security sliding door and to its special movement, coordinated with the turnstile, every attempt to enter without authorization is automatically denied, without interfering with other users throughput
Approaching the booth from zone "L" the turnstile starts rotating in anti-clockwise direction.
Going inside in one of "S" sectors available, the person that does not alarm the metal detector, is allowed to enter in "H" zone. In case the person alarmed the metal detector, access is denied to this person through security sliding door closing that forces user inside the booth to go out to zone "L".
The exit cycle is free. The person enters the first "S" sector available and it is lead outside.
If Metal Detector ON :
Entrance is controlled and exit is free
If Metal Detector OFF:
No control. Entrance and exit are free.
If the SAS has been set in manual option, the security sliding door is closed denying people passage. (Entrance is controlled, exit is free).
Entrance
If you press external door open button on the console, the turnstile will start rotating. A specific sensor identifies in which sector the person enters the booth. When the sector is next to the security sliding door the turnstile stop rotating, giving to the operator the possibility to recognize the person and eventually let him/her enter in a protected area, pushing button "INT" on the console. If the operator doesn't open the security sliding door, the turnstile, after few seconds, re-starts rotating and forces the person going out. In case another person enters one available sector, always in manual option, this second person will be automatically lead to the exit.
Exit
When one person approaches the security sliding door (that is closed), this will open and the turnstile will start rotating. The person then enters the first available sector and he/she goes out. After that, security sliding door will close again. If the person doesn't enter in a sector, after few seconds security sliding door will close again and the turnstile will stop rotating
First entrance
First entrance option has been created to enter during night shift. During night option the SAS has security sliding door closed and the turnstile locked. Operators, with the badge, stripe the badge in the external card reader to let them recognized. If they are recognized the turnstile will start rotating; when the person is next to the security sliding door, this one opens and let the person go in. After few seconds it closes again. It is important that the person with the first entrance badge, after having striped it, enters in the first sector available; a specific device denies the entrance to sectors different from the first one available.
Last exit (activated by night option)
After choosing on the console Night Option, security sliding door will close. To exit the building the person has to go next to the SAS; security sliding door will open and the turnstile will start rotating; After that the person enters in one of the available sectors and he/she can exit the building. When the person is out, security sliding door will close again and the turnstile will stop rotating; in any case if the person doesn't enter the SAS, after few seconds, security sliding door will close and the turnstile will stop rotating.
In the case main and emergency power supply fail, the turnstile can be put in free rotation by pulling the releasing lever placed on the SAS structure. After having pulled the releasing lever the security sliding door will remain open also if there is a metal detector alarm
To grant users' safety the booth is provided with:
- Vertical beams made up of transmitting and receiving photocells active during doors movements (It is important to clean weekly all safety beams photocells with a soft cloth, because if they are dirty they may cause a wrong doors working.
- Doors movement control (ratio space/time) through encoders.
- Motors impulse power control
Stop of turnstile rotation and of security sliding door movement, in case of an obstruction detection.
