EM 24K and EM 24K PLUS security cabins are flexible units, suitable to fully answer space requirements both during the transport or the local installation. Can be delivered in parts for on-site assembly. Practical and stylish, they fit every background in a simply way. They are available in square base, 180° and 90° transits.
The metal object check together with the single presence control and the left object check is the complete solution for building security without other barriers and local controls.
The cabins may be used for entrance and exit or only in one-way direction, this can be selected from the console.
Approaching the cabin from zone "L" the low door opens . Going inside the cabin, if the person does not alarm the metal detector, the low door will close and the high door will open, to allow the entrance in "H" zone. In case the person alarmed the metal detector, and/or two or more people enter in the corridor at the same time , the high door remains closed and the access is denied. A phonic message invites the person to go out and leave the metal object outside or, in case two or more people enter at the same time, a phonic message invites these people to go out and to enter alone. If there is a metal detector alarm, when the person goes out and the low door closes, the cabin will check that no object is left inside the cabin.
During the exit cycle there is only the single presence control. If two people approaching the security cabin from zone "H" the high door will open, but the low door remain closed and a phonic message invites these people to go out and to enter alone (see section 2 of this manual
With automatic option people can automatically transit through the cabin in three different ways: Automatic two-ways: the transit is allowed in both directions with metal detector control in entrance (if ON), single presence control and left object control (if ON).
Automatic one-way (entrance only): the transit is allowed in entrance only with dedicated controls.
Automatic one-way (exit only): the transit is allowed in exit only with dedicated controls
If the cabin has been set to Operator Mode the Entrance is managed by the operator at the console, Exit is free.
Entrance
If you press external door open button "EXT" at the console, the low door will open. After the person entering in the cabin, the low door closes and the operator has the possibility to let him/her enter into the protected area, pushing button "INT" at the console. If the operator doesn't open the high door, the low door will re-open after a few seconds.
Exit
Exit is allowed like in the automatic mode
First entrance
First entrance option has been created to enter during night shift During night option both doors are closed and locked. Authorized user stripes the badge in the external card reader to be recognized. If they are recognized, the low door will open; when the user is in the corridor the low door will close and the high door will open. Last exit (Activated by NIGHT Option)
After choosing at the console NIGHT Option all doors are closed and locked. To exit the building the person has to go next to the security cabin; the high door will open and the person can go out.
When the person is out, the low door will close again, in any case if the person doesn't enter in the cabin, after a few seconds the high door will close again.
